The journey from Cat Ba Island to Sapa spans over 500km. Since Sapa has no airport, the sleeper bus is the only budget-friendly option. However, choosing the right bus operator is crucial for your experience:

15:00 – 15:30: Pick up at your hotel in Cat Ba Town.
Ferry Crossing: The bus drives directly onto the ferry. You DO NOT need to carry your luggage off the bus.
Highway & Dinner: We travel via Highway 5B. Around 19:00, the bus stops at a rest station for dinner (30 mins).
Overnight: Lights are dimmed. We enter the Hanoi – Lao Cai Highway.
04:30 AM: Arrival at Sapa Bus Station (Dien Bien Phu Str).
Note: You can stay on the bus to sleep until 06:00 AM if it is too cold outside.
